Cause of death translation

Question

Can someone please translate the cause of death for Ingeborg Pedersdatter, wife of Halvor Pedersen for the top line in the following church record?  Very appreciative of your help!

You should add a tag for Norway.  And, if you add the profile reference for Ingeborg, maybe someone can find other sources.

It could be "druknet af ???" though I can't make out the place name. Drowned?

I believe that is possible. The other words “en brönd” (a well) fit with what the American family has believed to be what happened to Ingeborg Pedersdatter. It is the story that she fell into a well. Mange tusen takk.
